Interview with Texas HD 86 GOP candidate Jamie Haynes

Born in the Texas state capitol of Austin, TX, Jamie spent most of her life on the family ranch, established in 1898 located deep in the heart of Texas (Brady, TX). She was brought up working cattle and learned to be a good steward of and respect the land. Jamie was baptized in elementary school in the First Baptist Church of Brady. Her father, a 4th generation rancher, and her mother, a now-retired pharmacist, still reside in McCulloch County.

While attending college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, she met the love of her life, JT Haynes. After the wedding, the couple moved to Amarillo to start their lives together. She earned her MBA at West Texas A&M University and went on to earn multiple technical certifications within her field of study. Jamie worked for Maxor Pharmacies and then Anderson Merchandisers where she was a computer programmer and quality assurance analyst.

In 2007, she followed her passion and opened a photography studio named ‘H Gallery – Lifestyle Photography’. As a side business, JT had started a real estate brokerage. It rapidly grew so in 2011, Jamie sold her photography business and acquired her Texas Real Estate license to join forces with her husband at Triangle Realty, LLC.

While co-managing the team and brokerage, Jamie focused on the marketing aspect of the business with a dedication to consistent branding, utilizing a business coach, and integrating the latest tech tools to streamline business processes. Jamie understands what it takes to set goals and get things done, no matter the objective. Triangle Realty has become one of the top real estate brokerages in the Texas Panhandle and continues to break barriers in residential and land sales.

In the fall of 2020 after COVID, Jamie stepped away from the family business, launched Texans Wake Up, and pursued activist work within the state. Jamie was asked to join the Protect Texas Children team, co-chair the Youth Literature Task Force, join the Texas Ed 911 Core Team, join Grass Roots We The People, was elected to become a Randall County Republican Precinct Chair, was elected to be a Randall County Convention Delegate for the Texas GOP State Convention Summer ‘22, was asked to join the Texas GOP Legislative Priority ‘Parental Rights’ and ‘Stop Sexualizing Children’ subcommittees for the Texas 88th legislative session.
