Featured Event: Amarillo Coors Cowboys Club Cattle Drive

One of the weekend’s signature attractions, the Amarillo Coors Cowboys Club Cattle Drive celebrates the city’s historic roots as a cattle shipping hub in the late 1800s.

This year’s drive features:

60 longhorn cattle
Motorized vehicles and staged shootouts
A themed celebration honoring 100 years of Route 66 (“birthday” theme)

Route Through Downtown Amarillo

The cattle drive begins north on Polk Street, turns right on 3rd Street, continues to Marrs, then heads right and left down 10th Street before entering the fairgrounds. The longhorns will be displayed during the ranch rodeo at the Amarillo National Center.

With rodeo action, historic celebration, and downtown spectacle, the Coors Cowboys Club Ranch Rodeo continues to be one of Amarillo’s most anticipated summer traditions.
