Canyon Popcorn Co. Announces Permanent Closure
Canyon Popcorn Co has announced it will permanently close after unsuccessful efforts to sell the business and negotiate new lease terms. According to the company, attempts to find a buyer capable of continuing operations did not result in an agreement.
The business said its final day of operation will be May 31. Until then, the store plans to hold liquidation sales on remaining inventory while also selling fixtures and equipment.
In a statement, the owners thanked customers, friends, and the local community for their years of support. They described the closure as a difficult decision and expressed appreciation for the loyalty shown by patrons throughout the company’s time in business.
