7 Brew opening soon in Canyon: Expected to create up to 50 new jobs

Canyon is about to get a fresh new buzz in more ways than one as a popular drive-thru coffee chain begins building its newest location right on 23rd Street, just across from the campus of West Texas A&M University. The project is already turning heads, and not just because of the construction cranes—locals are excited about what’s brewing.

The new spot is part of the rapidly expanding footprint of 7 Brew, a drive-thru coffee concept known for high-energy service, fast lines, and an almost overwhelming menu of creative drink combinations. The brand has already seen strong success in nearby Amarillo and is continuing its push deeper into the Texas Panhandle, including recent growth in Dumas.

Once open, the Canyon location will bring its signature experience to 210 23rd St., offering everything from classic coffee drinks to blended energy beverages, smoothies, shakes, and teas. With more than 20,000 possible drink combinations, customers will have plenty of ways to customize their order—whether they’re in the mood for something sweet, bold, or somewhere in between.

Beyond the drinks, the new shop is expected to add around 50 jobs to the local economy, from energetic “Brew Crew” team members to shift leaders. The company also emphasizes community involvement, often partnering with local hospitals and organizations to support charitable efforts in each city it enters.

Opening celebrations at 7 Brew locations are known for their lively “Swag Day” events, where giveaways and high energy help introduce the brand to its newest neighbors. While Canyon’s official opening date hasn’t been announced yet, anticipation is already building.

With construction underway and interest rising, Canyon residents may soon have another stop for a quick caffeine boost, a sweet treat, or just a little drive-thru fun on their way through town.
