The Canyon Municipal Court remains closed as the city works through a staffing transition.
According to Canyon city officials, the staffing change has kept the municipal court closed since Monday. The city has not provided additional details about the personnel involved and says no further personnel information will be released.
An interim judge appointment is expected to be presented to the Canyon City Commission during its regular meeting on Sept. 1.
City officials say updated business hours for the municipal court will be announced next week.
