For another Tascosa Rebel, the dream of playing college football is becoming reality. Senior running back Traeson Elliott officially signed his letter of intent with Wayland Baptist University, continuing Tascosa’s long-standing tradition of sending athletes to the next level.

Elliott put together a strong senior campaign for the Rebels, rushing for 620 yards on 99 carries while scoring eight touchdowns. His combination of speed and toughness helped make him a reliable weapon in Tascosa’s offense throughout the season.

The signing marks the culmination of years of dedication for Elliott, who has pursued the goal of playing college football since his youth football days. Growing up around the Tascosa program, he always envisioned himself wearing the Rebels uniform and eventually earning the chance to compete at the collegiate level.

Now, that vision has become reality as Elliott prepares for the next chapter of his football career at Wayland Baptist. His signing also adds another name to the growing list of Tascosa players advancing beyond high school football, further highlighting the strength of the Rebels program and its tradition of developing talent.
