Report of people driving through Eastridge 'brandishing firearms at neighbors'


One juvenile male was arrested and several other suspects fled the scene during an incident in Eastridge Monday morning. There were reports of several people in a car driving through the neighborhood “brandishing firearms at neighbors.”

Around 11:30 am, a NPO officer found the suspected vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. During the stop, several suspects inside the vehicle ran away. 

One juvenile male was taken into custody after trying to hide in a nearby home. The juvenile also discarded a gun inside the home during the chase.

Police confirmed that additional weapons and ammunition were found inside the suspected vehicle. 

The APD continues to look for the additional suspects who fled the scene.
