Bell Street shooting leaves man injured, police looking for suspects


Around 4:00 am Sunday, Amarillo police officers responded to a shots fired call in the 1500 block of Bell St. 

When officers arrived, they found that several unoccupied vehicles had been shot and one male victim was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound. Officers located the 22 year old male victim at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Officers learned the man had a brief confrontation with several suspects in the parking lot before he was shot. 

One male suspect was described as wearing a black hoodie, colorful beanie, and was carrying a pistol. A second suspect was wearing a gray jacket and carrying an AR pistol with a green laser light. 

The suspects fled the area in an unknown vehicle. 

Violent crimes detectives investigating this incident.
