Grand opening Friday for Pavilion at the Santa Fe Depot

Friday is the day for the grand opening for the newest and most unique entertainment venue in Amarillo.

The Pavilion at the Santa Fe Depot will have its grand opening from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Friday (Aug. 11). The Pavilion is located at 401 S. Grant near the historic Santa Fe Depot. The massive 60,000 square-foot open-air facility was approved unanimously by Amarillo City Council in June 2022.

“We are excited to have the Amarillo community get a first look at this fantastic addition to the Amarillo Civic Center Complex – the Pavilion at the Santa Fe Depot,” said Amarillo Civic Center Complex General Manager Bo Fowlkes. “This is a massive facility that provides countless entertainment options – from private parties to sporting events like basketball and volleyball to concerts and rodeo attractions.”

The grand opening ceremony is open to the public and includes a ribbon-cutting, live music and refreshments.
