Someone recently drove a vehicle on two of the fields at the Rick Klein Soccer Complex causing extensive damage to the playing surface.
"We want to inform the Amarillo community about recent damage that occurred on Fields 4 & 5 at the Rick Klein Soccer Complex. Our team is currently developing a plan to address and repair the damage.
"This kind of vandalism effects everyone in the community, either by removing the parks from use or by costing valuable tax dollars to fix them.
"We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to maintain and improve our recreational spaces. Stay tuned for more updates on these developments," Amarillo Parks and Recreation posted on Facebook.
