DPS seizes over 62 pounds of cocaine, other illegal drugs in Oldham County


Over 62 pounds of cocaine, marijuana, and THC products were seized Monday after a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper stopped a vehicle in Oldham County.


At approximately 1:30 p.m., a DPS trooper stopped a 2022 Cadillac CTS traveling east on I-40 near Wildorado for a traffic violation. 

The trooper discovered multiple plastic-wrapped packages of cocaine inside luggage in the trunk. Marijuana and THC were located in the rear seat area and glove box.

DPS special agents assisted with the investigation.

Brian Davis, 51, of Doylestown, Ohio, was arrested and booked into the Oldham County Jail on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance.

The drugs were reportedly being transported from Barstow, Calif. to Fairlawn, Ohio.
