APD investigating 3 drive by shooting on Tuesday


The Amarillo Police Department is investigating three drive by shootings that occurred late Tuesday morning and early afternoon.

At 10:45 AM, Amarillo police officers were called to the 4200 block of south Fannin Street on a possible drive by shooting. Officers located multiple shell casings in the street and a residence that had been struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a gold or brown colored sedan.

At 12:13 PM, officers were called to the area of south Nelson Street and 5th Avenue on shots fired. Multiple shell casings were found in the street in the 700 block of Nelson and a residence was located that had been struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark colored 4-door car.
 
At 12:31 PM, officers were called to the 1000 block of Stuart Drive on a possible drive by shooting. Officers located a residence that had been struck by gunfire and several shell casings in the street. No injuries were reported. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a white 4-door sedan.
 
These incidents remain under investigation. No arrests have been made.
