Shooting at Canyon apartment complex leaves one person wounded

One person was wounded during a shooting in Canyon this past weekend.

Early Sunday morning, Canyon police officers were called to the Canyon Park Apartments near Highway 60. A 20-year-old woman shot a 26-year-old man who had broken into her apartment.

The man was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.

This is an active investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Canyon Police Department.

According to the Canyon Police Department, no arrests have been made, but charges are pending at this time.
