Ronny Jackson wins reelection in Texas' 13th Congressional District

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) is projected to win re-election in Texas' 13th Congressional District, defeating Democratic nominee Kathleen Brown.

The Associated Press called the race for Jackson at 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday.

The congressman was supported by former President Trump in the race for a second term in the Lone Star state. Jackson was previously the White House chief medical adviser to Trump.

Jackson thanked Texans for voting for him on Tuesday.

“It has been an honor to FIGHT for you in the House these past 2 years,” he tweeted. “I’m never taking my foot off the gas, I will ALWAYS be the loudest voice for Texas in the House.”
