WATCH: King Charles III addresses Britain for first time as monarch

King Charles III, who spent much of his 73 years preparing for the role, is delivering his first address as Britain’s monarch as the nation mourns the death of long-reigning Queen Elizabeth II. 

 He takes the throne in an era of uncertainty for both his country and the monarchy itself.
