Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of 17 year old Adam Jeremiah Maes.
Kezabien Mayes, 18 and Javonne Mayes 19, were arrested and charged with murder. The third suspect is a 14 year old juvenile female. She was charged with engaging in criminal activity and booked into the Youth Center of the High Plains.
Late Wednesday night, Amarillo police officers were called to a shooting at an apartment complex in the 2800 block of north Grand Street. Maes was found at that location suffering from a gunshot wound.
Maes was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
