Shooting near downtown Amarillo leaves one person with life threatening injuries

Thursday afternoon, Amarillo police officers were called to the 400 block of southwest 7th Avenue on a shooting. 

One man was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. A second man has been detained.
