Two people have been indicted accused of injuring a four-month-old late last month.
Oscar Gonzales, 29, and Alexzandira Sellers, 25, are charged with child endangerment and injury to a child.
Officers first found the infant at the emergency room where Sellers had taken the child for treatment. Sellers later told officers Gonzales admitted to pinning the child's limbs back and taking photos. Over the course of several weeks, doctors reported the child had lost more than half a pound, which they told police would lead anyone to get medical help.
Police report their two-year-old also tested positive for methamphetamines in his system.
If convicted for hurting the child, Sellers and Gonzales face two to ten years in prison.
The two-year-old is now in foster care and the baby was hospitalized for surgery.
