Amarillo PARD announces public survey

City of Amarillo
The City of Amarillo Parks & Recreation Department is making available a public survey to help define and plan for the future of Amarillo parks, facilities, public spaces, events and programs.

The public survey is available through June 1 at bit.ly/amarilloparksurvey.

The survey is an important part of the Amarillo Parks & Recreation Master Plan process. The data collected will assist in identifying citizen preferences and will help guide future improvements to parks, trails, recreation facilities and programs over the next 10 years.

“We are especially excited to get the Master Plan process started considering the current public and social climate,” said COA Director of Parks & Recreation Michael Kashuba. “I think we are really starting to see that parks are essential fixtures to our citizens, are important to our health and play a vital role within our community. This survey will help us understand how people use their parks, what they value and how we can stay relevant as culture shifts and evolves.”
