Canyon closes all city athletic fields: Closure impacts youth sports league seasons

On Tuesday, the City of Canyon sent a letter to youth sports organizations announcing the temporary closure of all city owned athletic fields due to the coronavirus outbreak. The city athletic fields will remain closed until April 15 for all practices and games.

As a result, both the Canyon Baseball Association and Palo Duro Soccer Association have postponed all practices and the start of their youth sports seasons for 30 days.
