'Major flu outbreak' closes down Dalhart Police Department office

The Dalhart Police Department announced on Wednesday that a "major outbreak of the flu" has forced the temporary closure of its office to the public and non-essential employees.

"Due to a major outbreak of the flu within the police department the agency will be closed until Monday February 03, 2020 to the public and all non-essential employees.

"This will give us time to disinfect and clean the entire the facility and allow our staff to get better and serve the public.

"If assistance is needed please call dispatch at (806) 244-5544 and we will have an officer come to you.

"We apologize for an inconvenience this may bring," the Dalhart Police Department posted on Facebook..
