One person arrested after short chase in Borger: One suspect remains at large


Thursday morning, the Borger Police Department received information about an alleged aggravated robbery at an 8-liner style casino in Pampa. Information given to BPD was that the suspects were known and were driving a red small vehicle.

Borger police officers located the vehicle on Pampa highway (Hwy 152) and Florida at about 10 am. A traffic stop was conducted at Allsup’s on Florida. The vehicle then fled and a short pursuit followed.

The pursuit ended in the 1100 block of Lindsey where two males fled on foot. A female, identified as Autumn Nichole Combs, stayed in the vehicle and was detained.

One suspect walked back to officers and turned himself in. He was identified as Jonathan Arturo Duran. Duran had outstanding warrants for aggravated robbery and a for terroristic threat to a family member from our department.

The third suspect, identified Gatlin Ray Taylor, remains at large.

During a search of the vehicle a revolver was located that later was reported stolen out of Pampa. Drug paraphernalia and other items were also located in the vehicle.

Combs is in custody on unrelated City of Borger warrants. Charges are pending against Taylor in Borger for evading arrest.

Additional charges for the original incident in Pampa are pending as well.
