The field is set for the 2019 Lone Star Conference Baseball Championship presented by Under Armour as the second seeded Buffaloes of West Texas A&M will host the single-elimination event on May 9-11 at Wilder Park in Canyon.

Angelo State claimed the league's regular season title with an overall record of 42-8 with a 22-2 mark in league action but the Rams were unable to host the tournament championship due to a scheduling conflict at Foster Field in San Angelo. Hosting duties went to the second seeded Buffs as they picked up the most regular-season wins in program history with an overall mark of 39-10 with an 18-6 record in league play.

The event will start on Thursday with quarterfinal action at 3 p.m. as fourth-seeded Cameron and fifth-seeded UT Permian Basin at 3 p.m. followed by third-seeded Texas A&M-Kingsville and sixth-seeded Tarleton at 7 p.m. at Wilder Park.

Semifinal action will take place on Friday starting at 3 p.m. with Angelo State battling the CU/UTPB winner followed by the Buffs taking on the TAMUK/TSU winner at 7 p.m. Saturday's conference title game is set for a 3 p.m. first pitch at Wilder Park with that winner claiming the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Division II Baseball Postseason.
