Three people arrested after chase in Gray County

This past Thursday, Gray County deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving a high crime area in Pampa. The driver did not immediately stop and continued on to Highway 152 west of Pampa.

The vehicle briefly stopped, and a male subject with a felony warrant fled from the vehicle into a pasture. K-9 Cury was utilized to pursue and apprehend the subject.

During this time, the vehicle once again fled. Gray Counties Deputies and Officers from Pampa Police Department who were responding to assist the K-9 Unit pursued and stopped the suspect vehicle on County Rd 4 1/2, where two more suspects were taken into custody.

The two suspects that fled in the vehicle were taken into custody and charged with evading arrest.

Another suspect that fled was taken into custody for his outstanding warrant and evading arrest. He was transported for medical treatment due to injuries sustained from the K-9 and later booked into Gray County Jail.
