Multiple vehicle burglaries at Lubbock hotels: Two firearms stolen

This past weekend, the Lubbock Police Department received nearly 40 reports of vehicle burglaries at several area hotels.

Investigators said in a majority of these cases, the suspects smashed a window on the vehicle. Some of the victims had personal items, electronics, purses, and tools stolen, while others reported there was nothing missing from their vehicles.

In two of the incidents, firearms were stolen from cars parked in hotel parking lots. One car was also reported stolen.
