A man was arrested Thursday afternoon after leading law enforcement on a chase through the streets of Amarillo.
Texas Department of Public Safety officials said chase started at I-27 and Rockwell Road. The suspect, 41-year-old Dustin Pennington, drove into Amarillo. He crashed into another at 34th and Teckla Boulevard.
After the crash, Pennington was able to continue driving north on Western. Pennington was finally stopped north of I-40 after law enforcement deployed spikes to stop the suspect's car.
Pennington was arrested without incident. He was booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
DPS officials say Pennington had two felony warrants for parole violations.
No injuries were reported in the crash with the other vehicle.
