Two people arrested after dragging Amarillo police officer with car

After the officer fell to the ground, the suspects fled west bound away from the scene and then south bound on North Mirror. Officers located the vehicle abandoned at SE 3rd and Mirror.

Schlenz was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information.

Both suspects were booked into the Potter County Detention Center. The vehicle that the suspects were in was found to be stolen out of Kansas.
