Amarillo Venom set to start playoffs

The next time you can catch the Amarillo Venom in action is Monday, June 18th at 7:00 at the Cal Farley Coliseum at the Amarillo Civic Center.

Amarillo will be playing against the Texas Revolution, based in Frisco. It is not the normal day of play for the Venom being on a Monday, and it is a different start time due to be on a workday with gates opening at 6 pm and game starts at 7 pm.

The Venom are sitting in second seat for in the southern division of the CIF while the Texas Revolution are holding the third seat. These two teams always provide a good matchup and this Monday night game will not disappoint.

An Amarillo Venom game is fun for the entire family. All ages love to cheer on their favorite arena football team and this week will be even more fun as PBS is bringing Curious George to the game. You can get tickets for the entire family for $7 each, while supplies last, courtesy of ABC 7 Amarillo.

The first 777 fans through the gates will get a mini football courtesy of ABC 7 Amarillo. Many of the local TV personalities and celebrities will be at the gates handing these mini footballs out. Gates will open at 6 PM and the game kicks off at 7 PM all on Monday, June 18 at the Amarillo Civic Center.

Tickets can be bought in advance from any Panhandle Ticket Outlet or United Supermarkets.
