APD releases results of 2018 Quality of Service Survey

On Tuesday, the Amarillo Police Department released the results of its 2018 Quality of Service Survey.

Amarillo police chief Ed Drain mandated this survey as one of four performance measures established for the Department beginning in 2017.  The other performance measures include crime rate, traffic safety, and response times.

The survey was made available for all Amarillo citizens to take the week of May 11-May 18, 2018.  It was available online on the PD’s website, with links added on FaceBook and Twitter.

445 citizens took the survey this year.

The APD will use the results of this survey to see where services to the citizens of Amarillo have improved, and to also see where it can continue to improve in other areas.

To see the results of the survey, go to the APD web site, http://police.amarillo.gov/ .  Then, select “REPORTS” from the pull down menu bar at the top of the page.  Once selected, the Quality of Service Surveys by year can be selected.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact the Amarillo Police Departments Crime Prevention Unit at 806-378-4257.
