Police looking for Toot’n Totum robbery suspect

Wednesday afternoon, Amarillo police officers were sent to the Toot’n Totum at 211 S. Western on a robbery. Officers found that the store had been robbed by a suspect that was armed with a knife.

The employee told officers that the suspect approached her and demanded the money from the register. After the man got the money, he left the store. He was last seen running north from the store.

Witnesses described the suspect was a white male in his early twenties. He was over six feet tall, and had a thin build.

The suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He had a red bandanna over the lower portion of his face.

No one was injured in the robbery and there have been no arrests.
