Teacher who was arrested says lawsuit coming

The Louisiana teacher whose removal in handcuffs sparked internet outrage says she still doesn't understand why she was arrested.

Deyshia Hargrave, who was arrested after questioning her superintendent's pay raise at a school board meeting, told a rally that her First Amendment rights were denied, and she urged supporters to get more involved in public education.

Hargrave was called upon to speak during the public comment part of the school board meeting when she started criticizing the superintendent's proposed raise -- from $110,190 to $140,188.

The town of Kaplan, a small community in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana where Hargrave serves as a teacher, reacts to the recent video of Hargrave being handcuffed and dragged out of a parish school board meeting.
