OJ Simpson granted parole: Details of release being worked out

O.J. Simpson will be paroled after serving nine years in prison for a botched bid to retrieve sports memorabilia in Las Vegas.

Authorities must still work out the details of Simpson's release.

Simpson told a Nevada parole board that he didn't make any excuses during his nine years behind bars, and has no intention of making excuses to the parole board.

Testifying before the Nevada Parole Commission, Simpson said "I basically have spent a conflict-free life." Simpson is seeking release from prison after nine years behind bars.

With her father looking on, O.J. Simpson's daughter has tearfully told parole commissioners that her father's choices were wrong, but he has been a perfect inmate.
