Clemson celebrates college football title

Clemson fans are celebrating their first college football national championship since 1981. An estimated 5,000 people poured into the streets of Clemson, South Carolina for a largely peaceful celebration, after the Tigers beat Alabama, 35-31.

Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson says the Alabama Crimson Tide left too much time at the end of the College Football National Title game. Clemson got the ball with 2:01 to play and scored the winning touchdown.

Clemson players celebrated their national college football title after defeating Alabama. Players gave credit to their school program and off-season workouts.
